Gujarati Samaj Chicago would like you to join our community at Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav – Funfair – Indiafest 2022 to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements. This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India this far in its evolutionary journey.
India Fest 2022 – Live Bollywood Music, Fashion Show, Kite Flying, Food and Lots of Kids Activities – Free Face painting, Magic Show, Moon Jump. Raffle – Air pod, Google Nest, LCD TV and other.

Change in Leadership 2022
We would like to inform you that the current Gujarati Samaj of Chicago President, Dhitu Bhagwakar, is resigning due to his lack of time being utilized with family, business, Village of Schaumburg, and other associations. Dhitu Bhagwakar’s took his role seriously but also eased stress within the Board by making it a fun and optimistic environment. Although he will be stepping down from his position, he will still be active on our Executive Board and will be attending future events to support our community. He would like everyone to know he feels extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to serve our community as President and looks forward to still being an asset to the organization.
The GSC Board and Council are happy to announce their decision of electing Bhavesh Shah as our new President as of May 1st, 2022, till December 31st, 2022.
Vatsal Shah will take charge as the General Secretary.
Bhavita Sheth is selected as a Joint General Secretary.
